Weekly Appraisal IQ Update UAD 3.6 Framework Now Integrated

Weekly Update – Rapid QC Now Available

Appraisal IQ is now capable of performing Rapid Quality Control (Rapid QC) for appraisers who need fast, reliable feedback without waiting through a full deep-dive review. While some users have experienced 20–30 minute comprehensive QCs, Rapid QC allows you to upload the engagement letter, appraisal PDF, and XML file all at once, then simply prompt: “Appraisal IQ, perform a rapid QC on the attached appraisal report and engagement letter.” Within minutes, you’ll receive targeted QC results highlighting key risk areas, compliance issues, and delivery concerns. From there, you can challenge Appraisal IQ to go deeper on any specific finding, confirm items you’ve already addressed, or generate ready-to-use narrative paragraph solutions for revisions or conditions. This new workflow reduces total QC time to under five minutes, while still preserving the ability to escalate into deeper analysis when needed.

This week, Appraisal IQ completed a major platform upgrade by fully integrating the entire UAD 3.6 framework, totaling more than 720 pages of official Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac guidance, directly into the Appraisal IQ system.

This update is designed to help real estate appraisers prepare for and confidently navigate the transition to the new UAD 3.6 appraisal forms. With this integration, Appraisal IQ can now provide
real-time guidance, quality control checks, clarification, and best-practice explanations that align specifically with UAD 3.6 requirements.

As appraisers begin using the new forms, Appraisal IQ will assist with:

  • UAD 3.6–specific quality control reviews

  • Clear explanations of new data fields, definitions, and reporting logic

  • Identification of inconsistencies between XML and PDF reports

  • Guidance on common reviewer triggers and how to prevent revisions

  • Practical, appraiser-focused interpretations of complex UAD changes

The goal of this update is simple: reduce confusion, prevent avoidable revisions, and help appraisers submit cleaner, more confident reports under UAD 3.6.

Instead of searching through hundreds of pages of documentation, appraisers can now rely on Appraisal IQ as a centralized intelligence and QC tool built specifically for the new UAD environment.

January 30, 2026 UAD 3.6 Appendix F-1 has been added to Appraisal IQ

More weekly updates are coming as we continue expanding Appraisal IQ to support appraisers through evolving standards, lender overlays, and reporting requirements.
